How we keep kids well
Hand washing
Kids wash their hands when they walk into class. Teachers wash often too, and sing songs so kids enjoy it.
Cleaning
Our staff cleans the building with non-toxic supplies and wipes down toys and play areas during the day.
Ratios and Licensing
The state licenses and inspects our center, including child-to-teacher ratios and building safety. We also hold accreditation, which asks more of us than the state does.
Name-to-face roll call
A teacher watches your child at all times. During the day, teachers say each child's name and make eye contact to count everyone.
What if my child gets sick?
We work to keep germs out, above all in flu season. If your child feels sick, we watch their symptoms and call you when they need to go home.
Safe play zoneOutdoors
Safety in the Playground
Kids learn outside too. Most classes play outdoors for 20 to 30 minutes at least twice a day when the weather allows. Each age group has its own playground with safe equipment, soft ground, and a fence.
Name-to-face checks happen before and after playground time.
