Birthday celebrations at school
We love celebrating our little ones and making their birthdays special! If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday in the classroom, you are absolutely welcome to send in a treat for your child to share with their classmates. We would be so happy to celebrate their special day with them!
Important allergy reminder
Our school is nut-free, and we have peanut allergies in our classroom, so we ask that you please be extra cautious when selecting a treat.
Nut-free, start to finish
All treats must be nut-free and made in a nut-free facility.
Labels to look for
"Made in a peanut-free facility" or "Peanut free" symbols. These labels meet our classroom requirements.
Labels to avoid
A "nut-free" claim on the front, but fine print that says it's made in a facility that also processes peanuts or tree nuts. These labels do not meet our classroom requirements.
Check before you send
Please carefully check the label before sending treats in. Unfortunately, if a treat does not meet these requirements, we will not be able to serve it and it will be sent back home.
Thank you!
We know how excited our little ones get to share their special treats with their friends, and we want to help make sure they can!
